Chemical Engineering : Intake 60

| This Department has an intake capacity of 60 students. It has various well-equipped laboratories such as Instrumentation and Process Control, Environmental Engineering. Mass Transfer Operations, Chemical Reaction Engineering, Plant Utilities, Computer, Heat Transfer, Fluid Flow Operations and Solid Fluid Mechanical Operations. The Department also has highly qualified faculty with considerable experience in teaching. The total value of equipment in the laboratories is approximately Rs.50 Lacs. The Department conducts Value Added courses on Flow Sheeting, Piping etc. so that the market value of the students goes high. |

Computer Engineering : Intake 60

The Mission of the department is: (a) to create technically skilled manpower for computer industry. (b) Prepare students for industrial environment and management. (c) Developing professional skills among students.
The Department usually sets itself short term goals, which are to be achieved within a short time limit, these goals allow the students and faculty to get together and inspire the students to come out with their best in their race against time. More often, these short-term goals result in healthy competition and enhance the interaction within the department.
The Department is in considerable demand in view of the continuation of boom in Information Technology enabled service (ITES) as well as software development opportunities in India and abroad. The Department has a large computer center comprising of 120 computers and associated peripherals like dot matrix printer, inkjet printer, laser printer, scanner etc. The latest operating system and associated application packages are also provided. The computer center has a dedicated Internet lab with 1 mbps lease line for high-speed Internet access. The total value of the equipment and software is approximately Rs.1.50 crore. The department has sufficient staff to meet the academic requirement. |

The Mission of the Department is :- (a) to create technically skilled manpower for IT industry. (b) prepare students for industrial environment and management. (c) Developing professional skills in the students.
This course is in considerable demand in view of the continuation of boom in Information Technology enabled service (ITES) as well as software development opportunities in India and abroad. The Department has a large computer laboratory comprising of 100 computers and associated peripherals like dot matrix printer, inkjet printer, laser printer, scanner etc. The latest operating system (UNIX/LINUX) and associated application packages (Visual Studio, Oracle, MATLAB etc.) are also provided. The various IT labs are connected to the dedicated 1 MBPS Leased Line for high-speed Internet access. The Department has sufficient staff to meet the academic requirements. The total value of lab equipment and associated software amounts to approximately Rs.75 Lacs. |

Electronics & Telecommunication: Intake 60

| This course is in great demand today in view of exponential growth in the past few years in various telecommunications related technologies. The department comprises of four well-equipped laboratories containing latest equipment and training kits in the field of Electronic & Telecommunication in order to conduct practical experiments as stipulated by the University syllabus. The department has a state-of-art computer laboratory which has computers loaded with the latest application software to cater the need of DSP Advanced communication technologies etc. The Department has adequate no. of post graduate and other professionally experienced faculties to meet the academic needs of the students. The total value of lab equipment and associated software amounts to approximately Rs.90 Lacs. |

| This course is in demand in view of the rapid growth and expansion in the fields of process control and automation industries. The department has set up specialized laboratories dedicated to Instrumentation and process control, Electronics Instrumentation, Basic Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Analytical Instrumentation etc. The total value of equipment is approximately Rs. 75 Lacs. The department has adequate number of post graduate qualified teachers with experience to meet the academic needs of the students. This department also has an independent computer lab with specialized application software in the Process-Control technology using SCADA; Modeling and Simulation of system e.g. MATALAB etc. |

Mechanical Engineering: Intake 120
|
| This department has an intake capacity of 120 students. It has several well-equipped laboratories such as Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Internal Combustion Engine, Fluid Mechanics, Strength of Materials, CAD / CAM with the high end CAD/CAM software. In addition the Department has a large and well-equipped workshop having large no. of lathes shaping and cutting machines, drilling machines, Carpentry workshop and special purpose machine etc. The total value of equipment in the laboratories and workshops amounts to approximately Rs. 2.5 crores. The Department has faculty comprising of two Ph.Ds., three Post Graduates and a large no. of highly experienced staff members. |
